My Journey

How Moonflower Came to Be

Supporting others has always been at the centre of who I am. For over 15 years, this showed up through my work in education, where nurture, care, wellbeing and emotional awareness were just as important to me as learning. Even then, long before I found energy healing, I knew that how a person feels on the inside shapes everything on the outside.

Over time, I realised that whilst I was showing up wholeheartedly for others, I had been quietly neglecting myself. My own healing was asking for deeper attention and that journey required me to slow down, listen to what hurt and stop bypassing the parts of myself that were uncomfortable or difficult to sit with.

Healing wasn't always soft. It was honest. It asked me to stay present with emotions, patterns and experiences I might once have avoided. Through this process, I came to understand how deeply the body and energy hold what we have lived through, and how powerful it can be when those experiences are finally met with care rather than resistance. That was when everything began to shift. I truly reconnected with my heart and inner wisdom and started to come home to myself.

Energy healing became a space where I felt supported to do this work, to notice, feel and release in my own time. As I began to heal, something else quietly emerged. What had begun as a deeply personal journey gradually became a calling to hold space for others in the same grounded, honest and respectful way.

Today, my work reflects that lived experience. I don't rush healing and I don't believe in forcing transformation. I walk beside people as they listen to their bodies, emotions and energy, supporting shifts that feel authentic and integrated rather than imposed. Every session is guided by intuition and presence, creating a space where you can breathe, be held and allow what needs to shift to do so gently and in its own time.

As I settled into this work, I became aware of another quiet calling. Part of me still missed my connection with children and the joy and playfulness that comes with it. Having spent years weaving wellbeing and emotional awareness into my classroom teaching, I had always believed that nurturing a child's inner world was one of the most important things we could do. Training as a children's yoga teacher felt like a natural and deeply meaningful next step, reuniting two parts of my path that had always belonged together.

Through children's yoga, mindful movement and simple awareness practices, I support children in recognising their emotions, building confidence and finding calm in their own way, without pressure or perfection, just gentle, playful, nurturing guidance. Watching a child reconnect with themselves, even in the smallest moment, is one of the greatest privileges of this work.

Moonflower Energy Healing has unfolded organically, shaped by reflection, honesty and a growing trust in my own inner wisdom. What once felt like uncertainty now feels like alignment, and a path that continues to emerge as I walk it.
