When your mind races and puts you through your paces,
take a moment and breathe. Breathe in and out.
Let it go. Drop your shoulders. Release the tension and repeat.
When autumn arrives, we think it’s the end. Yet it is just the beginning. Go for a walk and observe. Wait! Focus and pay attention and enjoy the changes in nature. Blink and you'll miss the tiny steps of subtle change.
The colours change, the animals are busy and the leaves fall until the trees are bare.
As you gaze upon the piles of autumnal coloured leaves, and dusk begins to set in, she appears in the darkening sky, the moon. In awe of her beauty, I ponder how she is in a constant flow of change.
Then my spirit says, 'See nature change, every minute, every hour, every day, every month, every season and every year. Fear does not exist in nature. Nature lets go and trusts the process, it's always ready for the next stage in the cycle.'

Fear. The dreaded, gut-wrenching feeling that scares the human mind. If only we could see how much we are in tune with nature, how much our cycles of change mirror that of the natural world. Oh, the power and knowledge we would have would be immense, but we've completely forgotten.
We like to hold on too tight and it's painful. It's fine though, we can bury it, distract ourselves and even try to negotiate with it. The thing we hold on to just rots inside, wearing us down and making us ill. Why do we do it? Familiarity? Safety? The norm? Denial?
How dare you be different! How dare you talk about it. Don’t show your power. Don’t break the rules. The uneasiness bubbles up. It rises. It persists. It gets louder. It’s unavoidable.
Now is the time. Open your heart and welcome the uncomfortable feeling like an old friend. Shine a light on it. Delve deep, pick it apart until there is nothing left. Then allow the feelings to wash away. The cleansing has begun. Time to rest, reflect and replenish. Patience follows and renewal starts. Trust in yourself.
