I had already embarked on my new journey but, as yet, I didn’t have a name.
One evening, I was working on a few admin tasks to box them off, as you do, and I was listening to music. I have to be in the mood for music and my energy usually determines what song, album or artist I play. This evening I decided to put on an album that both my hubby and I would enjoy and, if I am honest, one that I couldn’t get distracted by.
What was the said album that I chose? It was Euphoria Morning by Chris Cornell. Now I am happily in the zone, background music on and focus is strong. I was definitely not paying attention to anything other than the task at hand until my concentration broke.
I noticed the song that was playing, Moonchild. I paused, listened and sang along and then the connection happened. Then the ringing came, as I mulled the word over in my mind.
A quick internet search of the lyrics and, yep, there it was. Moonflower.
I took time to learn about the moonflower and discovered its rich history and symbolism across many ancient cultures and traditions. I was growing a strong connection to the name and it resonated strongly.
From one evening, listening to one album, one song jumped out, and one lyric stuck and Moonflower Energy Healing was created.
A moonflower, or an Ipomoea alba, is a morning glory plant that grows on a vine. They are usually white but you can find purple, pink and blue variations.

They have heart-shaped leaves and produce trumpet-shaped flowers that bloom at dusk and into the evening, releasing a fragrance that is both strong and delicately sweet.
When the moonlight shines down on these beautiful flowers, they glow like shining lights in the dark like tiny beacons of hope.
Moonflowers symbolise many things, across many cultures and traditions. They are commonly associated with love, beauty, mystery, feminine energies and goddesses, fertility, intuition, dreams, the divine and higher realms, transformation and protection, as well as life, death and rebirth. They are often used in ceremonies and rituals such as meditation and prayer to seek guidance from the spirit world.
When I discovered the ancient spiritual meaning and folklore behind the flowers, I realised that moonflowers are beautiful and powerful and must not be underestimated.
It was then that I realised how much I had in common with this sacred plant.
Moonflower Energy Healing is here to illuminate the path that will guide you on your healing journey, so that you can step into your power and shine bright.
With love
Emma xx
