The Wisdom of Water Part 1

Prior to my energy circle, I received a vision and guidance that felt important to decode and share. I was shown a flowing river entering a concrete dam. The dam was at capacity and began to crack. Then it burst. Next, I saw a dried riverbed leading to a dried-up lake with vegetation struggling to survive.

My mind went to divine feminine energy and what it looks like when we are in full flow. When we are flowing freely, life feels easier to navigate even through tough times, and everything seems to work out for the best. Creativity, motivation, abundance and relationships with ourselves and others feel effortless. Sometimes that ease and trust is hard to find and that is perfectly okay. It is how we rebound from those moments that counts. Otherwise the outcome can be very different.

When everything feels difficult, heavy, unexpected and unknown, our response determines how it all plays out. Does fear, overwhelm and a lack of safety cause panic, resulting in the need to constantly control the outcomes of events, situations and relationships? Do we put up our own dam, trying so hard to stem the flow and contain it, controlling every decision, situation and person, suppressing emotions and feelings, until one day it becomes impossible to hold and it bursts?

Or perhaps, we transition into a more passive state in response to external influences. Do we recoil and shut down as too much of our power is given away or taken in decision-making and relationships, out of guilt, shame and a sense of unworthiness? Do others' emotions, feelings and needs become the priority while our own take a back seat? Our divine feminine energy drains slowly until it dries up, just like the lake and its vegetation. With no reserves left, the fight for survival begins with limited resources.

With love and gratitude
